Lorca Atlético CF

Lorca Atlético Club de Fútbol was a Spanish football team based in Lorca, in the Region of Murcia. Founded in 2010, held home games at ''Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco'', with a capacity of 8,120 seats. The club was relegated to Preferente Autonómica for not playing its players and disappeared in August 2012.
==History==
Lorca Atlético was founded in 1996, as Sangonera Atlético CF. In July 2010 Cristóbal Sánchez Arcas, an entrepreneur from Lorca, Spain, bought Sangonera Atlético CF and moved it to Lorca.〔(Lorca y Sangonera Atlético se fusionan (Lorca and Sangonera Atlético merge) ); La Verdad, 10 July 2010 〕〔(El Sangonera y el Lorca Atlético firman su fusión (Sangonera and Lorca Atlético sign merge) ); La Opinión de Murcia, 15 July 2010 〕 It started competing professionally in the third division. The club later disappeared.
In June 2012, Lorca Atlético was doubly relegated: after finishing the season in 16th position, it suffered a further drop to the regional championships for failing to pay its players.〔(El Lorca Atlético no paga y desciende a Preferente (Lorca Atlético does not pay and relegates to ''Preferente'') ); La Opinión de Murcia, 30 June 2012 〕
